Once again, The Phileo House is becoming a 'walking machine' this March, a community stepping up together to raise the capital funds to build our shelter for homeless women (and children, if any).
Last year, during our first walkathon, God surprised us by surpassing our goal! This time, we are, once again, walking in BIG faith towards a higher one: $20,000. The knowledge that Jesus walked an average of 20,000 steps daily to reach the poor, the brokenhearted, and the hopeless, empowers our team to do the same for homeless women and their children. Our steps together will embrace this beautiful and vulnerable population by building hope, restoration, and transformation in Christ, and you can sponsor them.
This is our calling, our passion! Faithful to that call, we won't stop until we get there. Step Up with Us, Step For Them, Step Up in God!

Our Hope-On-The-Move awareness walk is on!

Did you know that an unsheltered mom & her kids will have to be placed in a
6-months waiting list to get a room in a women's shelter in Orlando?
Actually... a little longer!

Your involvement and partnership with us will bring this place up to fill that gap, and we want to let our Altamonte Springs neighbors know about it.
The Phileo House is in the making. We will marching to the rhythm of grace. No map needed, just good company!

Our awareness walk will take place at
Cranes Roost Park trail,

Time: 9 AM at the Amphitheater bleachers

PARKING: There is parking along Cranes Roost Boulevard, ample parking in the Altamonte Mall parking lot and in the Uptown Altamonte business district.

March 1st- March 31st, 2025: Our First Annual Virtual Walkathon: Step Up For Shelter!

For the month of March, we are fully committed to walk, step, bike- or choose an activity- for The Phileo House For Unsheltered Women. The funds raised will go towards the downpayment to acquire our building/land and start serving women in need of a transitional home and have a fresh start. This is a hybrid event where you can either walk physically with us, or set a virtual goal! Our last 'grand-finale' walk is planned for Saturday 3.29.25! See below.
