If you are here, you know the dire existing need to embrace transitionally unsheltered women and prevent them from going into chronic homelessness. Personal crises such as divorce, loss of a job, increased rents, medical bills, among others, can throw anyone from a stable dwelling into the harsh realities of homelessness. According to NHCHC, many who meet the definition of homelessness do not consider themselves homeless or do not disclose their housing status due to stigma and discrimination.
